Hi timc,

HtmlCapture version 2.0 uses an embeded Firefox (v2.0.0.13) and the IE on the host machine (since we could not control the IE version on host machine).

So if you want consistency on different machines, we recommend you use the firefox rendering engine.

Thanks. If you have any question about our products, please feel free to contact us (support at polestarsoft.com)

I haven't had a chance to use it in production yet, but so far, I've been pretty happy with 1.0. I'm evaluating 2.0 for the upgrade.

Realted to both versions, I do have a question. Do they embed the various rendering engines (IE and/or Firefox)? Or do they use what happens to be installed on the machine? If they embed the rendering engines, what versions do the 2 versions of HtmlCapture use? (For example, does HtmlCapture V2 use IE7? Does V1 use IE6?)

Thanks in advance.
